Yesterday in Kaliningrad the 11th Russian film festival “Koroche” ended. In the short film program, she won the film “I need to tell you something” directed by Yevgeny Maryan, and in the debut feature film program, she won the film “Take and Remember” by Baibulat Batulla.
The closing ceremony was traditionally held in an open format in the Central Park of Kaliningrad. The guests of the ceremony were participants, members of the jury and guests of the festival, as well as more than two thousand residents of the city. Actor Makar Khlebnikov, star of the TV series My Mom’s Penguins and the movie Bullfinch, made his debut as the host of the ceremony.

Short Film Contest:
best film award – “I have to tell you something”, directed by Evgeny Maryan;
award for best scenario – Andrey Lukyanov, “Bernaki”;
Best Camera Work Award – Alexander Efoshkin, BIG;
Best Director Award – Pavel Korolko, “Here and Now”;
award for best animation work – Blooming Winter, Alexander Brunkovskiy;
special award – Marina Kaletskaya, actress, “Friend, episode 7”;
special prize from the magazine “Cine Arte” – “For the way of thinking” for the short film “Aquí y Ahora”.
First Feature Film Competition:
the main prize – “Take and remember”, directed by Baibulat Batulla;
special prize from the jury with the text “We agree. This is a comedy” – “The Seagull”, directed by Polina Lazareva;
special prize of the jury “For Reality” – “Aquarium”, director Ilya Shagalov;
special prize of “Russia 1” (acquisition of rights and support for the release) – “The Tales of Hoffmann”, director Tina Barkalaya, producer Ekaterina Filippova.
It should be remembered that previously the Koroche festival announced that Boris Khlebnikov was in charge of the debut feature film section. The composition also included Natalia Meshchaninova, Irina Rozanova and Yasmina Ben Ammar. In turn, Alexei German, Jr., became president of the jury for the short film program.
