Date: May 26, 2024 Time: 08:21:59

The sustainable commitment of companies is getting stronger every day. This time Iberdrola and Cabify have come together to promote sustainable mobility and have signed a strategic agreement to promote the electrification of the self-employed VTC and taxi drivers collaborating with the platform, in order to facilitate their access to public energy recharging infrastructures.

As reported by both companies, this agreement, in particular, has a duration of four years and they assure that it offers a series of discounts applied to more than 2,200 charging points distributed throughout Spain with a guarantee of 100% renewable electricity origin.

Thus, Cabify’s collaborating partners will be able to access an advantageous price for recharges made on the Iberdrola public network. Through the Public Recharge application of the energy company, you will be able to locate the equipment and know their status at all times.

VTC or taxi drivers and those same conditions at company points in the case of fleets of more than one car.

This agreement reinforces Iberdrola’s Sustainable Mobility Plan, launched in 2016 for sustainability and the electrification of transport.

For its part, this agreement is part of Cabify’s Sustainable Business Strategy, which seeks to promote the decarbonization of collaborating fleets with agreements with manufacturers and other companies that favor electrification with the aim that 100% of trips on the platform in Spain are zero emission vehicles in 2025.
