The parties discussed joint tasks to fulfill the instructions of the Head of State in the field of realizing the export potential of the regions, as well as the participation of the Republic of Armenia in international economic, cultural and educational projects.
As Murat Kumpilov noted, thanks to the national project “Small and Medium Businesses” initiated by the President of Russia, the republic has managed to significantly increase its presence in foreign markets in recent years. On the basis of the Adygea Export Support Center, SMEs receive support, the volume of which increases annually.
Manufacturers of the republic actively participate in international exhibitions and conclude export contracts. Today the republic supplies its products to dozens of countries, including China, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Belarus and several others. Direct and reverse trade missions are organized regularly.
In March 2024, with the assistance of the Russian Foreign Ministry representation in Krasnodar, a delegation from the Republic of Belarus visited Adygea. Belarusian businessmen visited companies in the region, learned about their facilities and product offerings, and participated in negotiations in B2B format between business representatives of both parties. Then the return visit of the Adygean delegation took place, during which, in addition to economic issues, cooperation in the scientific, technical, personnel, educational and cultural sectors was discussed.
Olga Shalimova noted that the department will continue to provide the region with necessary assistance and support initiatives aimed at strengthening the comprehensive ties of the Russian Federation with partner countries.
On the other hand, the role of the Adyghe diasporas in the world was highlighted, with whom the republic has established cultural and economic ties, which also allows it to find new partners abroad.
