“According to the amendments made to the law “On Certain Issues of Tax Regulation in the Territory of Kamchatka”, representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North are exempted from payment of transportation taxes on snowmobiles and motor boats. The exemption applies to a vehicle of the taxpayer’s choice,” the report says.
There is good news for all Kamchatka residents who own boats, motor boats and other water vehicles with engines up to 100 horsepower. The tax rate on them has been halved – from 50 to 25 rubles per horsepower.
It is important that the benefits apply to legal relationships that arose after January 1, 2023.
