Yesterday, a gale snapped trees that fell on vacationers in camps near the Tair and Yalchik lakes in the Mari Chodra National Park. Eight people died, including three children, 29 tourists were injured, 16 of them were hospitalized.
Rustam Rakhmangulov, head of the administration of the Sterlibashevsky district of Bashkortostan, said in a social network that the husband of the deceased and the father of the children are in serious condition in one of the hospitals in the city of Volzhsk.
The head of the district announced the collection of funds for transportation to the village of Sterlibashevo and the funeral of the deceased and her children.
“I call on all those who are not indifferent to support and extend a helping hand to the affected family at such a difficult time for them,” Rustam Rakhmangulov urged. – On behalf of the inhabitants of the Sterlibashevsky district and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to relatives and friends who suddenly lost loved ones forever.
