The message about the boy, who is walking alone on the highway between the village of Korkatovo and the village of Shereganovo in the Morkinsky district, was received by the traffic police from a passing driver.
“Traffic inspectors immediately went to the place indicated by the eyewitness. A few minutes later they found a boy walking on the side of the road, holding a car tightly in his hand,” the ministry said in a statement.
The boy gave his name and age, and also agreed to show the way to the house. He explained that he went for a walk because his grandparents fell asleep putting his little sister to bed and he got bored. The boy went out through the gate of the fence, went through the whole village, and then along the road, traveling three kilometers.
The police took the young traveler home, where the grandmother had already found out that her grandson was missing.
