The accident occurred on Sunday in the village of Kobluk. According to the investigation, the neighbors – a six-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy – went to the pond without adults. The girl’s seven-year-old brother watched the children walk hand in hand. A strong current knocked over the juveniles and dragged them underwater.
– A passing man pulled the girl out of the water, but it was not possible to save her. After a short time, rescuers found the boy’s body, the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.
