Employees of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Russian Investigative Committee are working on the criminal case, the department said.
It is known that the incident occurred on July 30 on the section between the Shush and Sharypovo stations. At night, three teenagers, on the instructions of a person who has not yet been identified, set fire to the railway equipment – two relay cabinets. The actions of underage arsonists were stopped by employees of the regional department of the FSB.
Teenagers have been arrested. They have been charged. The question of the containment measure is being resolved. Investigators are gathering evidence in the case.
Earlier, the Krasnoyarsk Railway press service stated that the incident did not affect its work.
