The unified control room of the Gorodetsky municipal district received information about the incident from eyewitnesses at 13:45. The emergency services immediately moved to the place, according to the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
Rescuers pulled three people out of the water, they are alive. Another passenger, an elderly woman born in 1952, died.
“Previously, the cause of the incident was a strong wind. Currently, the issue of towing the small boat in the accident is being resolved,” the department explained. The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that all the circumstances of the incident will be established by the competent authorities.
