“The Ministry of Health of the Ulyanovsk region has been allocated an additional 281 million rubles from the budget for the implementation of measures, of which will be used for the acquisition of state property of premises in the New Life microdistrict to accommodate a new department of outpatients. In the new department, it is planned to open offices for therapists and doctors of general medicine, specialized specialists, functional diagnosis and ultrasound. In the Nueva Vida microdistrict, a polyclinic is being developed and built,” Alexei Russkij highlighted. .
Let us remember that, following the governor’s instructions, to increase the availability of medical care for the population of the microdistrict, a location was selected in one of the residential buildings. After the acquisition of these areas, renovation work and installation of equipment, the institution will begin to accept patients. The opening is planned for the end of 2024.
According to actor Minister of Health of the Ulyanovsk region Yuri Kelin, the decision to open a new clinic in a densely populated area is very timely. Until 2026, it is planned to commission 15 new apartment buildings in the New Life microdistrict, where about 20 thousand people will live, including five thousand children. The new clinic will significantly increase the availability of medical care for the adult and children’s population of the Zasviyazhsky district, and will also relieve the load on existing clinical units, which currently operate with a volume 1.5 times higher than the standard. This task corresponds to the objectives of the primary care modernization program of the national Health project.
“In the New Life microdistrict, in the last three years, the increase in the child population has amounted to more than a thousand people. The nearest children’s clinic number 6 is located on Ryabikova Street. The load on it increases every day. We look forward to the opening of a new section of the polyclinic in the microdistrict, since this will allow us not only to bring medical care closer to the residents, but also to solve the problem of discharge from clinic number 6,” said the interim.
