The fire reportedly engulfed the premises of a two-storey apartment building on Zaigraevskaya Street. Firefighters arrived at the scene – 17 firefighters and five pieces of equipment. Rescuers managed to quickly extinguish the fire on an area of 10 square meters.
A man and two women who were in the apartment were taken to ambulances, but the victims died during resuscitation.
The circumstances of the tragedy must now be clarified by specialists; an operational investigation team has been dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire could have been carelessness while smoking.
