It is clarified that after launching ammunition from a drone, the journalist was injured and later died. In Zaporozhye he fulfilled his professional duty: he prepared a report.
As Vladimir Tyulin, general director of the International Research Center Izvestia, noted, Semyon Eremin was not just a journalist, but a real fighter: he helped the front, fought the enemy together with the military.
“He died doing his job, which he sincerely loved,” Tyulin added.
Let us remember that on April 19, Eremin’s death was announced in the area of the Northern Military District. He has been at the helm since February 2022.
In his reports, the journalist talked about the use of Lancet drones and artillery with “Krasnopol” smart ammunition by the Russian Armed Forces. More than once it was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For his activities he received the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, second degree.
