Sometimes there are very strange holidays on the calendar. For example, International Optimist’s Day, which is celebrated on February 27. Where does it come from, who invented it? Although the idea of enjoying life two days before spring is generally understandable.
The tradition is quite new. 10 years ago, in Quebec, Canada, local politician Sylvain Levesque proposed setting the celebration of Optimist’s Day on the first Thursday in February. There, in Canada, there are some traditions that led to this idea. But it didn’t take root. And a few years later, a burst of optimism was expected in many countries on February 27.

Congratulations on the holiday appeared on Menshikov’s page on social networks. The pole is adorned with a photograph of a young and cheerful Menshikov, taken from his personal archive. There is also a congratulation on the page of the singer Stas Piekha: “Congratulations! And we hope that you always look to the future with optimism.”

Overall, not a bad idea, since training is due next April 1st in a month. And a good reason to share positive emotions. Or at least a smile. On Optimist Day, actress Olga Kabo decided to celebrate her birthday again (it was a month ago).
