On Saturday, in the decisive match of the ATP category tournament with a prize fund of almost 1.5 million dollars in Doha, the world’s 17th racket, Russian Karen Khachanov, and Czech Jakub Mensik, who occupies a place outside the top 100 in the ATP rankings, he delivered.
In the first set there was an even fight on the court. The opponents clearly did not want to give in and in the end the matter ended in a tie-break, which also turned out to be prolonged.
But in the end the Russian won 7:6 (14/12). In the second game, Menshik still faltered and lost his serve. Khachanov led the match to victory and became the winner of the main prize.
