A few days ago Philip Kirkorov arrived in the DPR on a humanitarian mission. First of all, the king of pop visited Gorlovka, where he sang in a local hospital, and also went to the destroyed Shakhtar hall; It was there where he performed his hit “Atlantis” many years ago. And yesterday Philip arrived in another city of the DPR – Makeyevka. He was accompanied by a friend and colleague, the singer Margot.
It turned out that little Makeevka is Margot’s hometown. It was she who suggested that Kirkorov come here. The last time the singer was in her homeland was six years ago.
“For the first time in six years I returned to visit my home, my native Makeevka. To be honest, I was really afraid to come here while I was pregnant, even though my parents, sister and relatives live here. And he helped the family and the creative family “Rodnichok” from a distance,” Margo shared.

Philip and Margot were greeted by Makeyevka director Vladislav Klyucharov, who shook hands with the king of pop. Kirkorov said he brought toys, paints, coloring books and other gifts for the children. Among them were dolls in the shape of Felipe himself.
The King of Pop visited the local Palace of Children’s Creativity named after VG Dzharty, where he was greeted with applause.

“This is all thanks to your compatriot, the wonderful Margot, who told me a lot about Rodnichka (the creative team). She is from Makeevka. And Margot thanked Philip and announced that the children had also prepared a gift for him. Pupils of the Palace of Children’s Creativity danced to Kirkorov’s hit “My Bunny”.

“During our time here we managed to visit the Makeevka groups where I grew up. I’ve been on stage since I was 3.5 years old, can you imagine? These groups are still developing and help “little stars” realize their talent. And even Philip knows them firsthand. Our arrival was a pleasant surprise for everyone,” Margo shared with her fans.
