Philip Kirkorov underwent plastic surgery six months ago, after which he radically changed. The 56-year-old singer underwent liposuction and lost half his weight. Additionally, a plastic surgeon gave him a facelift and reshaped his abs. On Malakhov’s show, Philip said he decided to take care of his body after botched photos of him on the beach were posted online.
A few years ago a video showing Kirkorov on the beach in Dubai appeared on social media. One of the tourists secretly filmed Philip and posted the video on social media. Kirkorov was horrified because he looked extremely unsightly: overweight, big belly. Because of these shots, Kirkorov developed complexes and for a long time could not undress on the beach. However, according to the singer, this incident benefited him and pushed him towards plastic surgery.
“I am grateful to this rat who took me down secretly. In fact, I am grateful to him because he became one of the motivators that something needs to change,” Philip explained.
Kirkorov admitted that only after plastic surgery could he afford to undress and sunbathe on the beach.
“At one point I looked at myself and realized that I am 56 years old. And there are young people around, we have to make do. I realized that I need to love myself again so I can get high. This summer I went to the beach to sunbathe for the first time in a long time. Everyone was looking at me, I was having fun,” Kirkorov said in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak.
Kirkorov’s plastic surgery was performed by surgeon Timur Khaidarov, who was recently involved in a scandal. Several stars, including singers Slava and Lyubov Uspenskaya, accused him of unprofessionalism. Philip is ready to defend the doctor from him because, according to him, Timur gave him not only a new body, but also a new life. After undergoing liposuction, Kirkorov regained his self-confidence and began a new round of creativity. Philip says that he is ready for new transformations. Now Khaidarov is having old scars on his legs removed with a laser, which the artist earned by hitting the monitors on stage.
