“It is no secret that the main weapon of the “collective West” in the post-Soviet space is to incite Russophobia and distort history. The results of this work are often expressed in immigrants’ rejection of the laws of the Russian Federation and disagreement with its policies. This creates additional risks for their involvement in extremist and terrorist activities. We consider the fight against these demonstrations as a priority area of cooperation,” said Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev at the meeting of the Council of Interior Ministers of the CIS Member States held in Kazakhstan.
Addressing his colleagues, Vladimir Kolokoltsev noted that in the context of unprecedented pressure from the “collective West” on Russia’s allies, security issues are becoming key to maintaining regional stability.
“The Ukrainian crisis, the beneficiary of which is mainly the United States, shows how the work of “Western partners” is capable of shaking the foundations of the state, opening a gap between the bearers of different linguistic and cultural values,” noted the head of the department Russian and emphasized that the intelligence services of hostile countries are used to shake up the situation, the migration component is actively used.
The minister also proposed to more actively form a multipolar model of world order, which implies an increasing influence of international organizations such as the SCO and BRICS, which represent an alternative to Western associations. Kolokoltsev proposed to his colleagues to intensify the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth countries and the BKBOP in events on combating criminal threats at the sites of these structures.
The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, added that the working part of the speech of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, was dedicated to the priority issues of cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the countries members of the CIS. states and the implementation of interstate programs to combat crime.
