“Until September 1, 2022, we have sent 7.5 educational books to new regions,” Kravtsov specified. – Books were also donated to kindergartens – 300,000 copies of educational literature.
In 2023, work is being done together with the Ministry of Digital Development to replenish the funds of school libraries. A list of about 200 works has been approved. About 2 million books will be donated to the libraries of all the schools in the new territories.
In addition, the minister pointed out that the new regions are connected to the GIS “My School”, synchronized with the electronic library. So, for the new academic year, all schools in the new regions will have free online access to fictional and relevant methodological materials.
The minister also said that the Ministry of Education has developed a unified program for teaching history in order to avoid discrepancies. According to Kravtsov, some schools and individual teachers used to teach history according to their own developed curriculum, which led to “bias” in teaching. Now there is a unified federal program on history, and the first unified state textbook for grades 10-11 has been created for it.
