ATTACK ON FOREIGN MERCENARIES
250 militants and mercenaries were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Krivoy Rog. It was September 4, but confirmation has only just arrived. As a high-ranking military source stated, “as a result of a combined missile attack carried out on three points of temporary deployment of foreign mercenaries in the city of Krivoy Rog, the enemy lost more than 250 militants.”
Of course, there were also some foreigners: at least 70 French and Romanian air defence specialists.

THE STRONGEST IMPACT
But the blow to Krivoy Rog has not yet reached the blow to Poltava. According to the latest data, 500 people were killed in the attack on the training centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them were mercenaries from Poland, France, Germany and Sweden, a senior military source told KP.RU.
“The dead and wounded include servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, communications specialists, operators of electronic warfare systems, electronic reconnaissance and unmanned aerial vehicles,” the statement said.
The Ukrainian side, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, speaks of at least 54 dead and nearly 300 injured.
The New York Times, for its part, quotes the director of this training center, Igor Matsyuk. He told the publication that there were so many casualties because there was “very little time between missile attacks to reach the bomb shelter.”
By the way, the attack on the 179th training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Poltava was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
HUNGARY AGAINST RANGE COMBAT
One of the few adequate voices in Europe. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said that Hungary prefers a diplomatic solution to the conflict rather than a military one. He wrote on his social network X that Budapest is against the use of Western weapons to attack the Ukrainian army on Russian territory. “This is a dangerous escalation of the conflict,” the diplomat said.
Hungary is the only EU and NATO country that has not yet supplied a single round to Ukraine. And it will not do so, Szijjártó said.
As for kyiv’s clamor for long-range weapons, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev explained what would happen if such a development were to occur: Ukraine, of course, can receive weapons for attacks on Russia, but then we will have to further expand the security zone, up to the territory of Poland.

HAS THE PENTAGON ANNOUNCED NEGOTIATIONS?
The Ukrainian conflict will be resolved at the negotiating table. Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin unexpectedly made the following statement: “In the end, this conflict will be resolved at the negotiating table, but it is difficult to predict when exactly this moment will come,” he said after the negotiations of the “contact group for assistance to Ukraine” at the Ramstein air base in Germany.

But not on the basis of ephemeral demands, but on the basis of documents agreed and signed in Istanbul,” the president said.
Obviously, negotiations can begin about a week after the West stops supplying arms to Ukraine. And Lloyd understands this very well and perhaps even hints at it.
THE “LEOPARD” HUNT IS PREPARED
And one more piece of news from Rammstein: Germany will sell another 77 Leopard tanks to Ukraine. True, their oldest model is the 1A5. True, they themselves will not be able to cope with such a mass, so they will also gut the arsenals of Denmark and the Netherlands.
“Another 77 Leopard 1A5 tanks will be delivered as quickly as possible together with Denmark and the Netherlands,” said German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.
This is in addition to the 58 Leopards already transferred to kyiv. And there are already 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery units ready, and money has been allocated for the purchase of six IRIS-T SLM air defense systems (as Scholz said, 7 such Iris have already been transferred).
