In the musical drama “Plaka”, Nika played the role of a Muscovite named Masha, who with her family moves to her grandmother in Novomorsk. After the elite gymnasium in Rublyovka, it is not at all easy for her to transfer to a normal provincial school. The girl is simply being bullied. But then she forms her own band called “Crybaby”.
Nika’s father, Sergei Zhukov, acted as a producer and scriptwriter for the musical drama. In addition to Nika and Vanya Dmitrienko, the film also stars Agata Mutsenietse, Roman Mayakin, Irina Rozanova, Elena Zakharova, Ekaterina Semenoiva, Nikita Tarasov and Anna Gulyarenko.
