Louis Vuitton launches its first podcast called [Extended]. The presenter will be the French journalist and director Loïc Prigent. Episodes in English between 20 and 40 minutes in length are expected to be released twice a month.
The presenter will have to meet with people who now work with the fashion house or have collaborated with it before. The first guest will be the new creative director of Louis Vuitton men’s collections, Pharrell Williams. He will talk about the sources of inspiration, the debut show and the peculiarities of working with stars. The premiere will take place on September 14.
Among the announced guests are also the creative director of the women’s line Nicolas Ghesquière, the chief jewelry designer Francesca Amfitheatrof, the pastry chef of the Louis Vuitton restaurant Maxime Frederic and dozens of other figures from art, culture and sport.
