The weather outside is reminding you that it’s time to reconsider your summer makeup routine. We studied the makeup of foreign influencers and chose the three most current beauty trends: skin with a natural glow, emphasis on doll blush and painted freckles. To repeat them, we asked professional makeup artists to tell us in a tutorial format what to do and with what means.

Summer makeup is, above all, about beautiful and cared for skin. To do this, I choose a radiant foundation that I can mix with foundation. However, if the occasion and the client’s skin allow, I focus on just one product. Once we have created the effect of elegance and care, we move on to minimal contouring and blush. In combination with radiant skin, it is best to use cream products to avoid turning into a disco ball and make the most of minimalist summer makeup. I apply them on the apples, lightly on the bridge of the nose and on the eyelids. I lightly tint my eyelashes with brown mascara, apply nude lips with a final touch of gloss (berry oil) and a touch of highlighter to give it shine. Finally, we add a little zest with the help of light shadows or fake piercings, with which you can constantly experiment and stick anywhere.
Active blush also does not lose its position among the main beauty trends. At the shows of the spring-summer collections, models came out with emphasis on the apples, the tip of the nose and the temples. New interpretations were also found along the way at the Met Gala, the Oscars and the Cannes Film Festival: at the latter, Julianne Moore and Elle Fanning applied the product like a sculptor and emphasized their cheekbones. My version of summer makeup is an accentuated blush in the spirit of blush boyfriend makeup. This is the name of the TikTok trend in which cosmetics are used to imitate a natural and bright blush like after physical activity. The point is that the product is not located on the usual apples of the cheeks, but a little lower and takes up more space. It should be blended up to the jawline and towards the center of the nose. The blush can be cream or dry (I prefer to combine one with the other in different shades). For a super realistic result, I advise you to apply cream textures (in the end a little brighter than necessary) before the makeup base, which ideally should be light and translucent (it is better to apply it with a sponge). For the effect of blood reaching the skin, pay attention to berry shades with creamy textures (for example, Verry Berry by Arive Makeup). You can stop there or complement the makeup with freckles and accentuate the lips/eyes. The main thing here is to choose the right colors and their intensity.
For those who love freckles and do not consider them a skin imperfection, there is also an option. And here you can do without ultraviolet radiation. Makeup artists and of course TikTok trends suggest drawing small dots yourself, using brown markers. Eyeliners and even very fine brushes along with shadows of the corresponding color are also suitable. And if freckles were previously perceived as the first sign of aging, today they are perceived as a flirtatious reminder of youth. Sometimes I reject the shade, but I apply the concealer to the under-eye area and precisely hide the imperfections with a soft brush of a.voevodina. The next step is the outline. I do the correction with a cream palette, in which I apply a light tone to brighten the cheekbones and tip of the nose, and bronzer on the bridge of the nose, cheekbones and cheeks. Finally, the biggest makeup culprit is freckles. We take a special marker, whose fine tip will make them as natural as possible. For lip makeup, let’s use a nude pencil, blend it and add a drop of Rhode gloss in the center.
