The MAAG brand showed a new collection for the autumn-winter 2023 season called Leading Light. In the highlights of the capsules there are laconic silhouettes, a clean color palette and a snake print. Cold light, penetrating through the translucent fabrics and outlining the strict lines of the fur coats and double-breasted jackets, plays a leading role in the brand’s new shoot.
The color palette is based on the classic combination of white, black and beige. Balanced silhouettes of floor-length dresses, fitted turtlenecks and elegant flared trousers alternate with draped asymmetrical dresses, geometric cut-out blouses, deconstructed corsets and jackets.
Special attention is paid in the collection to the textures of the materials. Key finds are fluffy knitwear for tops, skirts and bombers in milky and caramel shades, shiny leather for “python” raincoats, flowing viscose for dresses and shirts. The overall concept is built around a balance of strength and sensuality, which are designed to emphasize tall boots and pointed-toe ankle boots and bags in smooth, streamlined shapes.
Previously, MAAG launched a children’s collection for the new school season. The line was called Back to School. It included pants and skirt suits in muted tones with delicate pinstripes, white shirts, knitted vests, jumpers and cardigans. We talk about it in more detail here.
