There is hardly a person who has not heard of the “Trigger” series. The film tells the story of psychologist Artem Streletsky, who uses shock therapy to treat his patients. The series has two exciting seasons and now a film has appeared that was presented within the framework of the New Season online film festival at the Rosa Khutor resort. The film was presented by actors Maxim Matveev, Victoria Maslova, Polina Malikova, as well as director Alexandra Remizova and other members of the film crew.
Maxim Matveev, who lost a lot of weight several years ago, seems to have returned to his previous form. Matveev said that he had to lose about 10 kg for the role in the play “Kinaston” and began to look like an Auschwitz prisoner. With a height of 187 cm, Maxim weighed only 72 kg. The actor maintained this weight for quite some time. In the first season of Trigger, Matveev is also very thin. But in the sequel, in which Streletsky escapes from past troubles and moves to the sea, the actor appears in excellent shape.

Matveev, 41, appeared on the carpet in a smart blue suit, white T-shirt and sneakers. Diamond earrings shone in the actor’s ears. Shine and shine! Maxim looked simply wonderful. Matveev was accompanied by a security guard, who was vigilant to make sure no one else approached him.

The performer of one of the main female roles, Victoria Maslova, boldly attracted the attention of the public. The actress appeared in the costume of a modern Amazon, which, by the way, was very consistent with the character of her heroine Lera in “Trigger.” But Polina Malikova, who played the wife of Streletsky’s friend, literally shone in a gold suit.

Before the screening, a film crew led by director Alexandra Remizova took the stage. For Alexandra, the sequel became her first feature film. According to the director, it was Matveev who instilled in him confidence that everything would work out. After saying a few words, Remizova handed the microphone to the lead actor.
“This film was made with a lot of love for the characters and the situation they find themselves in. The entire process developed in a curious harmony of interaction. It was really great and I hope this is transmitted through the screen to you, as the first viewers. And the impressions of the filming were wonderful. And my heart is full of gratitude to literally everyone. It was great!” – said Maxim Matveev.
