Karoprokat will release a new film by Michael Mann “Ferrari” in Russian distribution. The release of the tape will take place on December 21. This is reported by the Film Distributor Bulletin.
Before that, the film will enter the main competition of the Venice Film Festival and will become the closing film of the New York Film Festival. The film is based on Brock Yates’ worldwide bestseller Enzo Ferrari: Man and Machine. The action of the project takes place in 1957. During this period, Enzo solves family problems and prepares for the Mille Miglia race.
The role of the brilliant Italian designer and racer was played by Adam Driver, his wife was played by Penelope Cruz, and his lover was Shailene Woodley. The film also stars Gabriel Leone, Sarah Gaydon, Jack O’Connell, and Patrick Dempsey.
Mann not only directed the film, but also acted as a producer and one of the writers on the script. At one point he worked on projects like Ford v Ferrari, The Aviator and The Last of the Mohicans.
