After an incident in which one of the rapper’s fans threw a drink at her and she responded with her microphone, sound engineering company The Wave decided to sell this iconic lot. Proceeds will go to charity.
“I own the microphone that Cardi B threw at someone who spilled a drink on her a few days ago. I decided to put it up for auction and split 100% of the proceeds equally between the two charities,” Scott Fisher, owner of The Wave, wrote on Facebook.
The microphone was listed on eBay as “Shure Axient digital Mic Cardi B tossed one person” with a starting bid of $500. As of now, fees have already exceeded $90,000.
