Microsoft has laid off 650 game developers – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

This is the third mass layoff of employees in the past year as the company, among other things, tries to “cut” costs, Bloomberg writes.

Xbox CEO Phil Spencer said the cuts would not affect games or devices. It also won’t result in any studio closures.

Samsung had previously decided to lay off 10% of its employees in response to the strike in India.
