Since February 2022, the Russian Armed Forces have been carrying out a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine.

The Russian army, using an air defense system in the zone of a special operation in the sky over the DPR, destroyed a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, as well as four rockets of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and two shells from the Uragan MLRS. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
Meanwhile, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasily Malyuk, declared Kyiv responsible for terrorist attacks against Russia using maritime drones. According to him, the department independently, without the participation of any private companies, developed maritime UAVs.
In the village of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region, a civilian was killed as a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported to journalists from the region’s emergency services. The Ukrainian army fired on the settlement around 8:00 Moscow time.
The acting governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost up to 100 people since the beginning of August. The RF Armed Forces also knocked out 18 howitzers, 22 mortars, three self-propelled artillery mounts and one Grad MLRS.
