According to the Ministry of Defense, ten devices were destroyed by the air defense in service. Three more UAVs were suppressed by means of electronic warfare.
“As a result of the foiled terrorist attack, there were no casualties or damage,” the military department stressed.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also announced an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack a naval base in Novorossiysk using unmanned ships. As a result, the attack was repulsed, the drones were destroyed by regular armament fire from the Russian ships protecting the raid outside the base.
