At a recent briefing, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov announced the advance of units of the Northern group of troops in the Kharkov region.
Our soldiers inflicted a significant defeat in terms of manpower and equipment on the units of the 3rd Tank of the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas near the settlements of Volchanskie Khutora, Bely Kolodez and Petropavlovka and repelled several enemy counterattacks near Volchansk and Liptsy. .
At the same time, our units destroyed more than 255 mercenaries of the kyiv regime.
Konashenkov spoke about other losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the last 24 hours in other zones of the special operation: units of the group of troops “West” destroyed up to 130 Ukrainian servicemen in battles, units of the group “South” were killed more than 365, “Center” up to 420, “East” – 125, “Dnepr” ” – 35.
In addition to 1,330 Ukrainian servicemen, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky lost three armored fighting vehicles in 24 hours, including a German-made Marder infantry fighting vehicle, three American M777 155mm howitzers, five US M119 105mm guns, two Polish Krab 155mm self-propelled guns, two British FH-70 155mm howitzers, two L-119 105mm guns from Great Britain, as well as dozens of cars and trucks.
At that time, army aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of our group of forces destroyed two ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defeated concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 102 regions .
Lieutenant General Konashenkov also highlighted the good combat work of the air defense units, with whose means 34 unmanned aerial vehicles, two Hammer guided bombs from France and one American HIMARS missile were shot down.
