Semyon Semenych Gorbunkov falls out of the trunk of a Moskvich 408 car.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Moskvich 408 car, which became the founder of the third generation of Moskvich cars and a real star of the Soviet automobile industry in the second half of the 60s. It was “Moskvich 408” that which was filmed at “The Diamond Arm.” This car was bought by “our dear boss”, Gesha Kozodoev asked to stop it, and Lelik said: “we will all get in.” Finally, Semyon Semyonich Gorbunkov fell out of the trunk of this car.
Automotive historians point out that the Moskvich 408 is one of the most iconic and beautiful cars of its time; Its original and laconic design attracted not only Soviet but also foreign buyers.
– Model 408 is currently in high demand among collectors. Especially the four-headlight export model. They are chasing these cars, there are few left. All the cars at our festival were in perfect and original condition. This is pleasure, this is pleasure! – said Dmitry Oktyabrsky, director of the World Automobile Museum.
Around 200 preserved and restored examples of the Moskvich brand from different years were presented at the festival. Guests at the party saw the entire range of cars produced by the plant.
