Spector is charged under s. 276 of the Criminal Code, according to which he faces up to 20 years in prison. Other details of the case were not disclosed.
Spektor was born in Leningrad, then moved to the United States and received citizenship there. He served as chairman of the board of directors of the Medpolimerprom Group of Companies, which produced drugs for oncological diseases.
Earlier, the man was accused of mediating the transfer of a bribe to Dvorkovich’s former assistant, Anastasia Alekseeva; the court sentenced him to a prison term of three years and six months. According to the investigation, in 2015-2016, Alekseeva received more than four million rubles from him, allegedly for promoting medicines, but the bribe consisted of tickets and vacation packages to Thailand and the Dominican Republic.
