The skyscrapers and structures of the metropolis, in particular the skyscrapers of the Moscow City business center and the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe at VDNKh, disappeared into the haze. As predicted by forecasters, this is due to the influx of cold air into the capital region, the land gives off heat intensively.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Moscow Emergency Situations Ministry, visibility in various districts of the city has dropped to 200-700 meters. The fog will continue until 7:00 on Sunday, August 27.
