You’ve probably worked at a dog-friendly cafe and met owners with their pets. Okay, his mood and desire to have a dog improves immediately. But how can a four-legged friend adapt to the modern lifestyle of his owner and how can an older friend take into account his wishes and needs? It is very important to balance desires with capabilities. Dogs are animals with a high level of intelligence and developed feelings and emotions. The dog experiences joy, sadness… It is very difficult for me to see how people who work in the office all day get a dog, and he sits alone at home and howls at the door. For her, the apartment, the owner’s house, practically becomes a prison. It seems to me that the ideal is to have a dog when children appear in the family. They play a lot with their pets, even when the adults are busy.
Tell us about your first encounter with a dog.
The encounter with poodles occurred in my distant childhood. There lived a woman next door who had a real white one. And even then I fell in love with this beautiful, proud, luxurious dog. Many years later, for a session I took two poodles: one white and one black. I was absolutely delighted! I remember how the dog put his paws on my shoulders and looked into my eyes with an intelligent, human look… In general, if you want a certain breed of dog, you should carefully read about them: what is the character of him. and temperament correspond to your pace of life.
What is your pets’ wardrobe like?
Functional cabinet: waterproof, special pads to keep the legs clean. Although, in addition, I also want beauty. When I see cool leashes and collars that I like while traveling, I definitely buy them. Oh, I almost forgot, each of them has great accounts.
Does a dog help you make social connections: at a coffee shop, a meeting, or a party? What is the most comfortable pair of shoes if you have a long walk with your pet ahead of you?
Yeah! First of all, when you walk your dog, you meet all the dog lovers in the area; This is 100%. With another dog lover you will always have something to talk about. For example, Jean-Paul Belmondo met his last wife while he was walking his dog. And, of course, he chooses the most comfortable shoes: sneakers.

Have you thought about adopting a shelter dog or becoming a volunteer?
I help the “Choose Me” shelter, which does important and very good work: rescuing dogs in different life circumstances and helping them find a home. Unfortunately, there are often not enough hands and funds – the shelter is large and each pet needs care. If you suddenly want to help too, you can join as a volunteer, support financially and, of course, give a home to one of the pets.
How can an owner prepare for an important event: the arrival of a dog to the house?
It is worth allocating a sleeping place, preparing everything for food (which will then have to be adjusted with a veterinarian) and a basic entertainment game. A dog trainer is also needed: the owner must learn to interact correctly with the animal, especially if he has no previous experience. In any case, the process will be difficult: you will have to limit the dog in some aspects, yourself in others, and give in in others. Like, for example, with a bunk bed. Contrary to recommendations, Polyus sleeps in the same bed as me.
Pet’s favorite toy?
While I collect clothes and art, Polyus collects toys. Then I can answer that his favorite toy is a new one or a forgotten old one.
What did your best friend teach you?
That there is no such thing as too much love. You just need to learn to accept it.

Why did you decide to get a dog?
As a child, I was always surrounded by animals: hamsters, cats and I really wanted a big four-legged friend. His parents constantly reminded him that this was a big responsibility and that he needed to be taken for walks in the morning and at night. I already closed Gestalt when I was an adult: I have a big dog, just like I dreamed of when I was a child. Our pet was a gift for our children’s seventh birthday and he has been teaching us love for eight years now.
An ideal day with a dog: what is it like?
We live outside the city, so the dog organically integrates into our routine. We spend a lot of time outdoors and he shares all the activities: walks in the forest, winter slide rides, games with children. He has his own house on the lot, although, of course, he is a frequent guest with us. Fander loves to climb on the couch or steal something tasty from the table. Akita Inu is the most loyal and kind dog breed, a wonderful friend for children and all family members.
Why might a friend with a tail be offended by you?
Although Fander is a very friendly dog, he was terribly jealous and mischievous in every way when his daughter was born. He didn’t last long, but he was (very) bright.
Describe the qualities or habits your dog has learned from you.
Funder likes hiking with me and playing soccer with the kids. And by the way, he’s pretty good at catching the ball and dribbling it (at least, definitely better than me).
