Apple fans are in luck. The wait to see the new iPhone 15 will come to an end in just a few hours in Spain: at 7:00 p.m. this Tuesday, September 12, it will be presented in an event that can be followed around the world. But the truth is that those who wonder when it goes on sale and how much money it costs won’t even have to wait until that time because many of the details of the models are already known.
As is usual in these cases, people who have iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and who are reluctant to buy the iPhone 15, have to make way for their successors. Perhaps you will be encouraged by the colors that the new models will have: the standard and Plus range have different colors than the Pro and Pro Max. The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus could have a new soft green color. And the pastel tones will be the main protagonists this time: there will be pink, blue and yellow. All this, without forgetting the traditional black and white.
At first, it was proposed that one of the new features of the iPhone 15 was that it would stop having physical buttons and instead have haptic buttons, which would work even with the phone turned off. But, later, it was clarified that this change would not occur. In turn, the shape may vary and adopt the design that the iPhone 5c had: it would leave aside the straight edges and adopt the straight side upwards, with a slight curvature towards the back.
When does the iPhone 15 go on sale?
Following the example of what has happened on previous occasions, it will be possible to reserve the iPhone 15 the same week as its presentation. Thus, everything indicates that the deadline could open as of September 15. Hence, the market launch date will be delayed by one week, to September 22.
It is not yet clear if any of the models will be released a little later, as happened last year, for example. In 2022, the iPhone 14 Plus arrived after the time and both the iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max also came out after the rest of the models in their family.
In fact, the most advanced, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, is likely to be delayed by a few weeks. According to rumors reported by media such as Xataka, Sony and Apple are having difficulties with the production of periscopic cameras, so this model could arrive between three and four weeks later.
What iPhone 15 models are there?
It was last year when Apple already released two iPhone ranges in the same generation: on the one hand, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus and, on the other, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In 2023, you will see four more models:

Furthermore, the main change compared to the iPhone 15 is the battery. iPhone 15 Pro. With its 6.1-inch diagonal, it will replace the current iPhone 14 Pro. Unlike the previous one, this is the ideal range for those who want a compact one, but without losing power and camera functions. In this year’s Pro models, the screen frames are expected to be very small, incorporating the A17 chip, a programmable button that will replace the mute switch, and better sensors for the main camera. iPhone 15 Pro Max. The 6.7-inch diagonal model will replace the current iPhone 14 Pro Max. It will be the most advanced and will mark its top of the range in 2023 and a good part of 2024, until the iPhone 16 is born. Not only will it have more battery than the rest and a larger screen diagonal, but it will have a periscopic camera. This is precisely what makes some analysts believe that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will take the market by storm.
How about the iPhone 15?
One of the issues that raises the most interest is the price that the iPhone 15 will have since, in 2022, the models increased their cost for the first time in five years in Europe. It would be rare for prices to drop, so the iPhone 14 with a capacity of 128 GB can be taken as an example:
iPhone 15: from 1,009 euros. iPhone 15 Plus: from 1,159 euros. iPhone 15 Pro: from 1,319 euros. iPhone 15 Pro Max: from 1,489 euros.
There are experts who even predict increases in prices in the United States but, given that the euro and the dollar are very close, perhaps it will also spread to Europe. However, this information will not be known until the day of the presentation.
