“Today, honouring miners, whose arduous work entails enormous responsibility, considerable dangers and even risks to life, we bear witness with gratitude to the significant contribution they make to creating the well-being of our Motherland, to the development of the Russian economy and strengthening its energy security,” the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church stressed.
According to him, the main wealth of our country is not minerals, but people. “Every day, performing their hard work, miners show us a bright and inspiring example of dedication, heroism and courage, loyalty to their vocation and duty, creative service for the benefit of their neighbors,” he added, wishing the Russian miners strength of mind and body, good spirits and peace.
