“Not at all,” Peskov told RIA Novosti, responding to a question about whether Russia is ready to believe US officials.
The United States is ready to do whatever is necessary to guarantee Russia’s food exports if Moscow returns to the grain deal, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told reporters earlier.
Earlier, Peskov said that a return to the grain deal is real if obligations to Russia are met.
Remember that the Black Sea Grain Initiative was signed on July 22, 2022. Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN signed a document regulating the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports: Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny. The duration of these agreements was 120 days with the possibility of extension if none of the parties objected. As a result, the agreement was extended three times, first for 120 days and then twice for 60 days. The last time – until July 17.
