Local herders receive the appropriate vaccination annually. The stock of the necessary drug in the republic exceeds 10,000 doses.
Tuva’s Rospotrebnadzor department noted that the annual expeditions of the anti-pest station periodically identify pathogens of a particularly dangerous infection among ground squirrels.
Recall that in June there was an outbreak of anthrax on the territory of Tuva; five people have been infected.
