Askeri Club opens at Patriarch’s Ponds. This is a union of projects by Polina and Angelina, Moscow’s leading contemporary art gallery Askeri Gallery and the design office Angelina Askeri Interiors. The club represents the connection between fine arts and design, beauty and fashion, the art world and the business community.
Askeri Club is a contemporary art gallery, design office, conference venue and debate club in one space. Here you can visit a contemporary art exhibition or a tour of the author’s exhibition, sign up for an art conference and, if you wish, buy your favorite work and implement interior design with your participation.
Lectures and speeches by leading experts from the creative and business fields are planned to take place there. The Askeri Club space, with an area of more than 700 square meters, is located in one of the most notable historical buildings – the PA Skopnik apartment building in the late modern style. Luxurious interiors have become the ideal environment for contemporary art, giving it new meanings and adding depth to the dialogue between the art worlds of the past and present.
The autumn season at Askeri Club will begin with the opening of exhibitions by two world-famous authors. Visitors will be able to see the works of the Russian-British artist Yuri Cooper, whose works are represented exclusively in Russia by the Askeri Gallery. Another gift for the first visitors to the new artistic space will be the exhibition of a new series of works by Juan Miguel Palacios, as well as the visit of the Spanish artist himself to Russia.
Earlier, the opening of a new public art exhibition “Objectively” took place in the cultural and educational center of the Russian Design District (RDD) and in the Desenovskoye sports park. The project includes 11 works by famous contemporary artists presented in public space: Dmitry Aske, Ivan Gorshkov, Andrei Lyublinsky, Matvey Shapiro, Nadya Likhogrud and Mikhail Khvalebnov, Eldar Ganeev and Maxim Svishchev.
