The President of the Russian Federation also noted that since the recognition by the Soviet Union of “a new sovereign state that appeared on Korean soil”, relations between the two countries have been built on the basis of the principles of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual respect.
“Considerable experience of constructive cooperation in various fields has been accumulated. I am sure that through joint efforts we will continue to systematically strengthen bilateral relations in all areas. This is fully in the interests of our peoples,” Putin stressed.
He wished Kim Jong-un good health and success, and all citizens of the DPRK peace and prosperity.
