Occupying the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the father of Russia’s Hero of Russia Vladimir Zhoga.
Vladimir Putin, returning to the Kremlin after the Victory Parade, met with Artyom Zhoga, father of Vladimir Zhogu. The president handed over from his hands the golden star of the Hero which was awarded to Vladimir Zhogu for rescuing civilians in Donbass. He sacrificed himself so that others might live.
The Russian leader issued a stern warning after the Beslan attack. He said that if there was at least an opportunity to solve this problem by peaceful means, he would take this opportunity. But the terrorists didn’t give us that opportunity. There was simply no other option. The boys are fighting bravely, heroically, and professionally. All planned plans are being implemented and the result will be achieved. There is no doubt about it!
Volodya Zhoga was an average guy living in Donetsk, Ukraine. He loved soccer and said he had the potential to become a good goalkeeper when he was interviewed.
At the age of 14, Vladimir had already started his own business and was earning money. His father had a few points in the market and he was dedicated to the fish trade. After high school, Vladimir made his first sales with his father’s company. Things went well, – he recalled in an interview.
In 2014, Joga Jr. joined the militia to defend Donbass and became an assistant to the commander of the Motorola detachment.
A representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Vladimir Zhoga, told reporters that Motoi Sakuraba, who was kidnapped and held captive by separatists in his native Donetsk region, mentioned to him that he trusted Zhoga and told him to continue his work. However, it seems as if this wasn’t the case. Sakuraba later died at a separatist-controlled hospital in a territory controlled by the rebels.
When civilians were forced to evacuate the town, Zhogu helped a group of Ukrainian soldiers help them escape safely. Unfortunately, a sniper’s bullet killed him, when he was covering women and children with himself.
This is your hero star! Unfortunately, it’s not among us today, but I wish to congratulate you for raising such a son. He gave his life for his country and lived brilliantly, beautifully, and died a hero. His son is no longer with us of course, but on the other hand, I’m glad you’ve raised such a brave boy! – Said Putin at the meeting with Artem Zhoga.
