Ridley Scott has begun work on a new television series based on his cult film Alien. The project will once again focus on xenomorphs. Hollywood expert Daniel Richtman spoke about this.
Details of the upcoming show are being kept under wraps for now. According to Richtman, Scott should take the director’s chair on the project, and the plot of the series will not be related to the upcoming film “Alien: Romulus.” The film will be released in August 2024.
The last film in the Alien universe was released in 2017. Alien: Covenant received a mixed reception: on Rotten Tomatoes, the film earned 66% favorable reviews based on 334 reviews, with an average rating of 6.3 out of 10. Metacritic, In turn, it gave a score of 65 out of 100 based on 52 reviews.
