“Seven flights were redirected, they made a successful landing,” the ministry’s official channel TG said in a statement.

So, three planes landed at the Strigino airfield in Nizhny Novgorod, three at Pulkovo in St. Petersburg and one flight from Istanbul – in Minsk. It should be noted that after the restrictions on the use of airspace were lifted, all passengers on these flights were delivered to their destination airports.

Earlier it was reported that, for the safety of passengers of civil aircraft, flights to the Moscow airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo, as well as to the airport near Moscow in Zhukovsky, were temporarily limited. At 04:30 Moscow time, restrictions on receiving and sending flights were lifted. Airports are currently operating normally, the Federal Air Transport Agency confirmed.
