As the fighters themselves said, damage to the enemy was inflicted with hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers (RPGs) and anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
According to the company commander with the call sign “Admin”, it all happened at the beginning of the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the area between the settlements of Rabotino and Verbove. At some point, the enemy Bradley managed to get close to the Russian trenches, so the infantry under his command had to destroy them with RPGs.
“ATGMs, one might say, burned 90 percent of the equipment. Artillery helped a lot, our sappers,” added the serviceman with the call sign “Monk.”
As “Administrator” noted, the Ukrainians during the battle tried to get on the Bradley. But they did not have time, the team was amazed. During the battle, a German Leopard tank was also destroyed, covering the rear of the armored group.
Earlier it was reported that in the battle near Rabotino, the soldiers of the elite reserve 82 Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered. According to military correspondents, the paratroopers laid down their weapons immediately after going on the offensive.
