“Another M1 Abrams tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed using a Krasnopol high-precision guided missile,” RIA Novosti reported in the department.
The gunners received the target coordinates from the UAV crew. Upon reaching the firing point, they destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with one precise hit.
It is stated that the firing was carried out from a 152-mm 2S19 “Msta-S” self-propelled artillery installation from a closed firing position.
After completing the combat mission, the fighters quickly changed their firing position, camouflaged the combat vehicle and took refuge in a shelter, the Ministry of Defense added.
Recall that the United States sent a total of 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. By early June, 14 tanks had already been destroyed. As noted by the media, the Russian military has learned to easily disable American tanks.
