The lieutenant general noted that in the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued for a week unsuccessful attempts to break through the defenses of Russian troops in the areas of the settlements of Rabotino and Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region .
– To do this, the enemy threw into battle 39 assault units of the 46th air assault brigade, the 47th mechanized brigade, the 82nd air assault brigade, as well as the 15th brigade of the National Guard from Ukraine. Konashenkov also reported on the losses suffered by the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past week in other military contact zones: more than 1,230 Ukrainian soldiers died in the southern direction of Donetsk, more than 2,100 in Donetsk, up to 425 in Kupyansky, more than 450 in Krasnolimansky and up to 355 in Kherson.
It turns out that during the last week the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed another 5,405 Ukrainians in their “meat” attacks. Let us remember that since the beginning of the so-called “counteroffensive”, enemy losses exceeded 66,000 people and 7,600 weapons.
In addition, in one week, our soldiers also destroyed dozens of enemy tanks, armored vehicles and self-propelled guns.
Meanwhile, within a week, the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the southern part of the Kerch Strait discovered and destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned semi-submersible ships that were trying to attack the Crimean bridge. Naval aviation aircraft near the Crimean Peninsula destroyed four speedboats carrying landing groups of special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in total up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen.
Our military pilots also distinguished themselves this week: they shot down a MiG-29 aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force, and also destroyed the launchers of the S-300ps anti-aircraft missile system.
