The fight between Fakhretdinov and Lee became one of the brightest of the UFC tournament that took place on Sunday night in Las Vegas.
The Russian started the fight actively, tried to land a lot of punches and managed to put the opponent on the canvas with one of them. Fakhretdinov did not finish off the opponent, but applied a chokehold, which is called a guillotine. The referee stopped the fight.
For the Russian wrestler, this victory was the 21st in his career with a loss.
Unfortunately, Damir Ismagulov was unable to repeat his compatriot’s success. In the co-main event of the tournament, he was defeated by a unanimous decision after three rounds by another American, Grant Dawson.
