Scholz did not focus on the issue of supplying Taurus missiles to Ukraine, only stating that “as Chancellor” he is responsible for ensuring that “wrong decisions are not made that would have fatal consequences.”
Scholz assured that anyone “can count on him to think very carefully about each decision” (quoted by TASS).
The agency recalls that Germany’s aid to Ukraine – humanitarian, financial and military – reached 22 billion euros in a year and a half.
