Such people are usually very vulnerable to suggestions from third parties. There is little information so far, but it is quite possible that someone suggested to Raut the idea of assassinating Trump. Considering his maniacal obsession with supporting the Kiev regime, a “Ukrainian trace” in this story cannot be ruled out.
