In 2019, before becoming a foreign agent and flying to Israel, screenwriter and comedian Semyon Slepakov* spoke about the return of the program “Our Russia”, which was wildly popular in the 2000s. After all, with all the abundance of comedy projects on TNT, it is difficult to find something similar in terms of aphorism, accuracy of images and quality. “Our Russia”, filmed by serious directors (Petr Buslov and Maxim Pezhemsky), has become a truly popular phenomenon.
And the new director of TNT, Tina Kandelaki, set course to revive the show. Thus, the project “Galustyan+” first appeared on the air, where Mikhail Galustyan exploits the good old images of “Our Russia” (news anchor Zhorik Vartanov, security guard Borodach, etc.), without hiding them.
“Now is generally a time of nostalgia,” the artist explained to KP. – Throughout. So we were all waiting for now to come as soon as possible. Now we think it would be better the way it was then (laughs). Nostalgia is when we, the adult generation, can remember the old times, the young, childhood and youth. The same thing happened with “Our Russia”: some were at school, others at university, some got married while the project was on the air. Therefore, I hope that some of the heroes who have moved to “Galustyan+” will add a pleasant nostalgic note, but at the same time they will shine with new colors.
After “Galustyan+”, but before the full revival of “Our Russia”, a test appearance on the air of the “Svetlakov+” program was suggested. And it will happen very soon.
“We had to think about a lot of things to get a set of characters that in our time would be interesting and understandable both for a Muscovite and for a person from the Ural hinterland,” Svetlakov explained. — About thirty images had to be cut. As a result, seven characters were born: we took three from the program “Our Russia” and gave them a new life, four we created from scratch. I love all my new characters, I think they are unique. And I hope the public likes them too. When I became not only an actor, but also the author of the project, the degree of responsibility for me only increased. But it doesn’t scare me, it makes me happy.
In addition to the return of Slavik (now working at a water park), Yuri Venediktovich (lost in his own mansion and talking to the Consciousness, played by Irina Rozanova), Snezhana Denisovna (retrained as a fortune teller) and the homely Belyakov (who still speaks ). on television) the blogger Richard (very similar to Ville Haapasalo), the security guard Igor Sanych and the employee Kirill Antonov will appear in the project.
Without a doubt, Svetlakov, with the help of a new sketch show, is testing the audience’s interest in the forgotten old man and stoking interest, before the return of the same project in which the vagabonds Siphon and Beard, deputies Pronin and Mamonov. and others made the audience laugh.
